Our Story
Grace Anatomy Pilates Studio is a thoughtfully designed movement sanctuary located in the heart of Studio City. Founded by Grace Wang Caltabiano, the studio was born from a simple but powerful idea: that Pilates should feel personal, intelligent, and deeply supportive of the whole person.
With a background rooted in classical ballet, anatomy, and decades of teaching experience, Grace brings a modern yet respectful approach to traditional Pilates. Her work blends precision with intuition—honoring the method’s foundations while adapting it to the real bodies, lives, and goals of her clients. Grace Anatomy was created as an answer to what Grace felt was missing in the Pilates world: a space that feels calm rather than crowded, expert rather than performative, and welcoming rather than intimidating.
From the beginning, the studio was designed to feel intimate and intentional. Classes are small by design, with pod sessions limited to just seven clients, allowing instructors to offer hands-on guidance, individualized cues, and a level of attention rarely found in larger studios. Private and semi-private sessions provide an even more tailored experience, whether the goal is strength, longevity, rehabilitation, or refined movement quality.
Over the years, Grace Anatomy has quietly become a trusted destination for a diverse clientele—including dancers, athletes, creatives, and well-known figures—who value discretion, expertise, and a sense of ease. Despite its reputation, the studio remains grounded in its core values: safety, education, connection, and long-term well-being.
At Grace Anatomy, Pilates is not about trends or extremes. It is about building strength with integrity, moving with awareness, and creating a sustainable relationship with your body—one thoughtful session at a time.

Our Founder
Grace Wang Caltabiano is the founder and guiding force behind Grace Anatomy Pilates Studio, a boutique Pilates haven known for its thoughtful approach to movement, longevity, and whole-body wellbeing.
Grace’s work is shaped by a rare blend of science, artistry, and lived experience. She grew up studying Vaganova-style classical ballet and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry, cultivating a deep respect for both the beauty and biomechanics of the human body. Her path led her to Los Angeles on full scholarship to the prestigious Tremaine Dance Center, where she discovered Pilates as a powerful tool for strength, rehabilitation, and sustainable performance. What began as a complement to dance quickly became a lifelong calling.
Teaching Pilates since 1996, Grace has spent nearly three decades refining a method that honors precision without rigidity and strength without strain. She is a STOTT Pilates Level 2 (Advanced) Certified Instructor, TPI Golf Fitness Certified, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Kinesiology, continually deepening her understanding of movement, anatomy, and the nervous system.
In 2007, after years of traveling and teaching internationally, Grace opened Grace Anatomy Pilates Studio. Designed as an intimate and thoughtfully curated space, the studio quickly became a quiet favorite within the entertainment community. Grace is known for her infectious energy and motivating presence, balanced by a meticulous attention to each client’s individual goals. This combination has fostered a loyal following built on trust, consistency, and long-term results.
At the heart of Grace’s work is a simple belief: movement should enhance your life, not exhaust it. Through Grace Anatomy, she continues to help people move better, feel stronger, and live with greater awareness—both on and off the reformer.
